Glasurit launches the ultimate primer programme

It’s impossible to top the first-class quality of Glasurit’s comprehensive range of primers, but there are always ways to make the process even more efficient. When Glasurit set out to revamp its primer range, the top priority was to boost process efficiency and profitability, and that’s exactly what Glasurit’s technicians have achieved.

Glasurit’s new HS primer fillers now dry even faster. By using Glasurit 285-505 HS Primer Filler grey, 285-555 black and 285-655 white, bodyshops save up to 10 minutes drying time at 60°C while reducing the respective energy costs at the same time.

Bodyshops can cut even more time and energy by using Glasurit 523-15 Racing Additive. For the first time, refinishers can use 523-15 Racing Additive with the Glasurit sanding primer fillers, significantly reducing the drying time to just 10 minutes at 60°C or 1.5 hours at 20°C. This enables bodyshops to completely refinish a vehicle within a single day, even if they air-dry it.

Just like their predecessors, Glasurit’s HS primer fillers 285-505 grey, 285-555 black and 285-655 white are best when used as a package. Together, they continue to provide bodyshops with improved efficiency, such as low material consumption with just two coats, as well as the grey shade concept.

These new primers will supersede the well established 285-500, 285-55 and 285-65 primers, though the application remains identical, so bodyshops can benefit from a seamless transition to the new primers as well as benefiting from a comprehensive grey shade programme and faster process times.
